The 13 blokes who started the game knowing they were the favourites and so, as per always, decided that meant they didn't have to try - those are the guys who cost the raiders.

Hodgson (who is one of those 13 admittedly) just made it that little bit harder.

I still think the turning point was the ridiculous attempted offload from jarrad Kennedy when we were rucking it out from our line and gave the dogs their first try of the half.

To the dumb merkin on 2GB this morning saying the Canterbury vs Canberra was going to hardly enthuse and SoO weekends were a free kick to other codes...good one!

He played well. Yeah he had a few lucky bounces but whatever. He is exactly the type of player we let go well against us.

I think there were a few dumb mistakes by the Raiders in the second half. Hodgson should be given a kick up the arse for his decision making but I feel uncomfortable saying he cost us the game. The facts are as follows

First 16 minutes

Raiders 0- Bulldogs 26

Final 64 minutes

Raiders 34- bulldogs 15 and 6 of those points came from a terrible short kick off that only happened because of the field goal in the last second.

Basically what I am saying is that Stuart shouldn't focus on anything but that horror show start. That is where the game was lost. If we had snuck over the line it would have been an absolute miracle.

Everyone was critical of Reynolds performance at orign last year without realizing that across the 3 games the halves from both states were not that great. At least he got under JT's skin, that really sealed it for us.
