Once the Raiders scored and it was 34-32 with a kick to come and Phil Gould was rambling on about how the Doggies had nothing in the tank and that the Raiders could score another 8 tries i knew the Doggies would win,he never gets anything right.

The raiders didn't deserve a win. But the fact that degenerate piece of human waste managed an arsey field goal to win it is the hardest bit to see.

Reminds me of Jamie Ainscough's FG in the dying seconds for the Knights against the Magpies in 1995.

NRL.com has the Raiders props as

NRL.com has the props at

Paul Vaughan 15 runs for 141m (love him)
FPN 4 runs for 32m
David Shillington 16 runs for 170m
Shannon Boyd 12 runs for 108 m

hmmm someone stands out as not pulling their weight.

Well with no Jackson, Klemmer, Morris x2, Hodkinson, Graham...
Only the lime green fail machine could lose that at home. Enjoy!

He kicked on what the 50m line.

Can't see that making much difference

Yea bullshit your teams on top and he kicks in to touch instantly destroying all momentum they had, not to mention they could have easily got into field goal range or did a good last tackle kick for a repeat set or try.

He doesnt kick there Raiders win

Could be a very costly loss for the Raiders, this. Really should have won comfortably and now take on Brisbane next week. 'Not sure if the Broncs will be resting anyone, but still.

Great 4 point win for us since we have the bye next week, can't wait to see us at full strength.

wonder how many minutes his was on for, I don't recall seeing much of him.

Captain croker only had 5 runs for 40 odd metres. Add to that his turnstile defence he was one of the worst on ground

Congrats dogs. They had to start well and didn't disappoint. The senior players they had left all stood up.

Raiders guilty of talking all week about the ambush and then magically watching it happen before their eyes. Can't be taken serious until we fix up our horrid goal-line defence. It has to be close to the worst in the NRL.

If they do, the raiders will go into the game as favourites and the team will assume they can win without trying.

Ah life's certainties, they would be comforting if they weren't so annoying.

shillo showed ricky he's a moron with his game today.
hope the broncs sign him for next season

That was the first good game from shillo in close to 3 years. It was refreshing to see him run hard, but I'll need a lot of convincing that he's back to anything near his best.

Here's a coaching tip for the Raiders. Pretend you're down 20 points at the start of every game
They would be one heck of a side if they didn't let the start get away from them. 20 points to the tigers 26 to the dogs.

And that kick on 4th tackle is what stuffed them today

Win lose or draw at least the raiders are playing an exciting brand of footy. The team deserves 20k for the game against the broncos, hopefully the capital gets behind them. I hope they make the 8.

well he did it today. he can do it again.
at his best he's one of the best props in the game.
was also playing for a contract next season.
would have shillo at the broncs tomorrow
