Thats got to be one of our best wins of the season given the circumstances. I dont give a shit how many wingers and backrowers the Dragons were missing, losing both of your halves and both of your starting props (arguably your 4 best players) is a far greater impact than what they were missing. This was a win against a top 4 side in their own home ground. In a game where our forward leaders are both missing we were outstanding in defence for that whole game.
Yeah because losing our entire starting backrow, and their 2 replacements (both of who are also on the bench in our best 17) isn't much of an impact. Losing both of our wingers, and their replacement may not be that big of a deal, but in conjunction with the backrow issue means that 50% of the edge defence is completely new, which of course wouldn't have much of an impact. Oh and lets not forget losing our best and most important player (Dugan), and not being able to replace him with our next 2 best fullbacks (Nightingale or Mata'utia).
Writing the impact of our losses off just because you don't think the positions are important is ridiculous. Our backrowers are far more important to our game plan than our props are.
