It would be handy if there was a former top class half on the Raider's staff who could perhaps help Austin develop the finer points of playmaking.

Based on the 10 minute highlights package I saw today, the Raiders look like a new team to me this year. The additions of Austin, Waqa, Soliola and Wighton at the back really give the team some class. The only thing is they lack a lot of experience, especially in their spine.

If they can maintain that spine and core players (none of which look like d*ckheads thank god) then they'll go far in a few years. They're my smokies for the finals this year and will upset a few teams this year methinks. Goodluck Green Machine.
