Game went pretty much as expected. Was always going to be a small margin one way or the other. Had our chances in the first half but don't have enough bullets in the gun, and once we were required to rely on our defense in the second....well....lol.

Unfortunately for Mannering while the ball looked like it went back it was lost then rolled under him. Good finish. Sharks were strong defensively, Warriors were a bit fragile defensively. Proved the difference.

Warriors need Lolohea and Townsend to gel quickly. I think they'll beat the Dragons next week.

Pretty much. As I said last week, all I care about is seeing how these young guys respond without SJ.

Lolohea showed enough to suggest he has the makings of a good half, Lisone on his return to first grade was very aggressive, Gubb/Vete continue to look impressive in the middle, and RFM aside from one poor missed tackle that led to the Shark's try was pretty strong.

Looking forward to next year.
