The weather should not have a negative impact on this game. Sun is out and shining brightly in Sydney's CBD now. Barely a cloud in the sky and only a light breeze.

If Souffs finish 7th and get the Sharkies (6th) at ANZ then the NRL are a disgrace.

They avoided Manly at Brookie last year which was outrageous.

Who beat who doesn't mean shit. The Tigers beat both Canterbury and souths in 2014, doesn't mean we were better than them.

Everybody knew as soon as week 1 of the semis finished where the Premiers were coming from. The dogs/panthers prelim was the lowest quality grand final qualifier I have seen in my life.
Last year:

Roosters + 230
Rabbits + 224
Cowboys +190

The rest weren't even close. F/A is always a great indicator of who the classy teams are. And there's no doubt that these were the 3 best teams of 2014 at their best. And we did ruin the finals with that awful performance vs Penrith, which culminated in what felt like a regular season game as a Prelim Final in the Dogs v Panthers.

Sharks play finals at ANZ, already been confirmed. I don't agree with it but it is what it is so to speak.

Roosters are insane if they play their best side. Give RTS a rest, Guerra, Cordner, and possibly a couple of their props.
Maybe but Robinson isn't one to rest players and potentially upset our momentum.

SKD is back so maybe Robbo will rest RTS and try Fergo at FB in preparation for next year. If he decides that he's our FB for next year.

I hope we go full strength and destroy Souffs.

Wouldn't Mitchell be your FB next year? Otherwise why re-sign him on a fairly large contract?

He could be, depends if Robbo wants to throw him in the deep end or not, he's not ready for FG at the moment.

Also he re-signed on a large-ish deal because there were many clubs circling him and it could pay off as if he did start next year and was a star he'd be on very cheap money compared to what he's putting in.

Don't see him as being not ready however I must say I have only seen him in 6-10 games, haven't seen the whole season of him. If your halves and wingers support him, you can have a rookie FB.

Trent Robinson has stated publicly that he plans to blood Latrell Mitchell on the wing in first grade and not rush him into first grade at fullback. He wants Mitchell to transition to first grade fullback like RTS did.

Fair enough, I take your point. He is a great coach he would know what he is doing.

Makes far too many mistakes, and has defensive issues.

Probably needs to really hit the gym in the off season just to get his body ready.

Wouldn't surprise me if souths win tonight, since the roosters already have 1st place sewn up !
Would rather the dragons play souths than the bulldogs !
A few other results need to go our way for that to happen though ! Not likely !

SKD in for Elliot the only change for us.

Robbo obviously doesn't want to ruin our momentum.

I prefer it this way, I want to thrash Souffs.
