Did you see him in his first games at fullback? Not f**king up is huge for him. Carving up is beyond epic.

Not sure what happened to him to be honest. Was a pretty good junior but kind of lost his shit after the u20s. Being moved to every different position certainly didn't help though. Fullback and centre seem to be his better positions though.

He was never as shit as some of our own fans tried to make out. It helped our "poor me, look at the players we are forced to field" pitiathon for a while, but it has always been obvious Smith is a better fullback than stand-off. His defense is still weak and a reason why he won't be a top fullback, but he is a capable fill in.
He was beyond horrible. Had a Cariage like game to begin with. Which makes his recent form more impressive.

He's not a fullback or a half. But he's certainly a capable player.

i don't know if I want to laugh or smash my head against a wall watching Gagai and Uate try and defend.

Just don't watch until they have the ball. They would make defenders look stupid nearly as often as they are made to look stupid.

Knights have taken their chances, while we've bombed ours.

If there's a stat for most bombed tries all year I reckon we're on top with double the second team.

Terrible defense.

Leading up to the Knights second try, they were gouging us up the middle.

Newcastle are scoring from the opportunities that they are given.

The way we are playing,we are not capitalizing on our chances and have blown three scoring opportunities.

That has been the difference although the Panthers look the more livelier of both teams..

Deadset Chris Smith just blew my mind. He's a big dude and nearly scored an 80m intercept. Tyrone Roberts is pretty quick as he showed last week.
