merkins sitting in the video box are destroying this game .they f**k up week are week after f**king week

How did they f**k up? Graham attacked Reynolds's legs. He may not have meant to hit him, but he did. It is a penalty, and a clear one.

Refs did a great job.

James Graham usually walks a fine line, great player that he is , today he stepped over one of the fine lines and cost his team the game. Stupid really.

Hate both teams but that was pretty filthy. James graham had no intention of attacking the legs only had eyes for the ball

So you can dive at players legs as long as you only have eyes for the ball?

Broken legs all round.

Why was the penalty given right in front?? Isn't the rule from where it lands?

Farcical end to a pretty good game. Souths didn't deserve to win.

Dogs can have the 2 points if it means we get back Reynolds

Because the Dogs play like thugs we were without Luke half the game, and may be without Reynolds for months if his leg is broken.

10. (a) If a player fouls an opponent who is attempting a drop goal, a penalty kick shall be awarded in front of the goal posts.

Accidental foul yes, but still a foul.

Because it was a field goal attempt. Doesn't matter where it lands, penalty is 10 metres out right in front.

Exactly

Im astounded commentators are ignorant to our games rules

It used to be where the ball landed regardless
They changed it about 15 years ago...

No, the rule is not where it lands. The rule is 10 metres out, in front of the posts.

Put it this way, if Graham charges at the ball and hits Reynolds square in the face with an elbow is it not a penalty because he didn't mean to because he was only going for the ball? He hit the kickers legs, it's a penalty whether he intended to do it or not, it's his responsibility not to.

Tough way to lose and real shame to end the game that way.

Graham needs to pull his head in, the way he screams and swears at refs is immature and embarrassing and sends a message to his players to do the same, hence why Klemmer ended up in the bin.

It's a penalty you numpties. If Reynolds was just kicking for touch no one would be disputing a penalty being given
