IMO I think the Cows are mentally cooked after last week, they had no answers for the donkeys. That will be a big game to regroup from, although the home semi will help.

I don't think they will have the energy to deal with a grinding, grubby game from the Sharkies.

The difference in the score in that game was down to Thurston missing a conversion and a penalty goal to the Broncos. That's hardly having "no answers".

So on top of being unable to penetrate us to score points to actually get in front, they had an issue with giving away penalties in their own half. Reminder, I reckon the Cows will win, but the Cows definitely have a lot to work on.

Not really. They were pretty damn close actually. At the :43 sec mark was a try 99.9999999% of the time

Then Reed and Milford both with impressive try savers. They still need to finish but as of now our defence is only millimetres ahead of the cowboys.

My heart says the Sharks,my head says the Cows.My other head is undecided.

But with the rumours doing the rounds that Roy & H.G. are back for "The Festival Of The Boot Pts 1 & 2",for that reason alone,I want to see the personality players in the GF.And would include Innis (Grub 1),and Cam Smith (grub 2).

So I'm [sorta] hoping for a Storm V Sharkies GF.

IMO the Sharks have a massive chance here...they have good quality across the park and big game experience in Gallen, Lewis and Ennis.

If they can control the middle with Scott and Tamou which Graham, Gallen and Heighington then they can stop Thurston's effectiveness.

Having said that...they are going have to take risks to beat the Cowboys and play some free flowing league.

Saving them is the way we will win. Thurston played ordinary against us in Cronulla because we pressured his field position.

We know how to win this game.

Cowboys by as many as they want. Unless Thurston chokes. He has a habit of doing that in finals games. The cowboys have always underachieved in September. They won 1 finals game between his 25th and 30th birthdays. Huge underacheivement if he really is an immortal caliber talent. So it's always hard to confidently back them.

Cowboys please. Last thing I'd want to see is a Sharks-Melboure prelim to bore the living daylights out of everyone
