Sharks won't make it easy for the cows. They'll go up there with nothing to lose and love no one giving them a chance. I think it will go down to the wire with thurston probably winning it for the cows. NQ by 4.

Yes on form and if they improve the errors last game.
It was hard to tell what the Sharks offer because Souths were so ordinary, I did see a lot of ill discipline with tackles...would love to get free penalties lol.

As a storm fan, I'm hoping for a blood bath featuring 15 minutes of extra time. I don't really have a preferred opposition however as both will be tough to face.
In regards to the game, tough to pick. Will say Cowboys by 1, Thurston FG to win it

both teams will be hungry, this will be a great match

on one hand you have cronulla who would want to win and put 3 years of asada shit and wooden spoons behind them and go as far as they could and on the other hand you have the cowboys who believe theyve been dudded three times in as many years and would be seeking redemption - as well as that both teams have never won a grand final so expect fireworks

Sharks have done really well this year but TBH yesterday looked like their crowning glory for the year with the Cowboys yet to have theirs.

The conspiracy theory is in full affect so sharks will get no favours here, their ball control will have to be almost perfect.

I can't see JT losing here but having said that, Sharks to win in the last minute off a try that shouldn't have been awarded.

Sharks to win the game on an 8th tackle set with a try that turned out to be a clear knock on. Cowboys fans to storm the field and murder all sharks players and the officials.

Storm to win the prelim in a no contest with the Sharks unable to field a team

Sounds far fetched. Even 20 thousand Cows fans couldn't kill Gallen.

Sharks would win the prelim in a no contest after the storm forfeit when they hear they have to face Gall alone.

Cowboys raging favourites for mine.

Yeah sure we have beaten them twice this year, once without Thurston where they clocked off and once without Scott where they played average.

But i thought their attack against the broncs looked pretty good, broncos with a number of last ditch efforts and knocking passes down that stopped certain points.

I'd like to think we are a big chance at knocking them off, but i doubt it.

Here's our last 6 weeks...

v Broncos - 4 point loss (2 penalty goals) in one of the games of the season, would have beaten any other team last night. Very impressive for a loss result.
v Titans - 30 point win, hardly horrible.
v Storm - 8 point loss in Melbourne in cold/wet conditions, played well and had a fair try disallowed just before halftime, hardly horrible.
v Warriors - 34 point away win, hardly horrible.
v Souths - 13 point loss, Souths best game in several months, but fair call on this one, we were horrible.
v Sharks - 12 point loss, didnt pay the Sharks enough respect, rested Matt Scott and didn't play well, but still hardly horrible. Sharks scored in the 80th minute to make the end result look worse than it was.

Id go back further but all i'd be posting is 15 wins and 1 loss.

By my count thats 1 horrible game out of the last 20+
Thurston didn't play the other time you lost to Cronulla did he?

All I know for sure is that if the Cowboys lose, the Sharks will be able to surf the wave of JT's tears back to Cronulla. Personally, I'm excited to hear about this years conspiracy.
