He was assistant coach to Cleary in 2015 when Panthers just missed the spoon. He took teams off good years to shit years. No success at all really.

Barret may end up being a great coach but u are right, he wasn't even the best credentialed assent coach we have, Garth Brennan has a much better resume, I've no idea why he hasn't been given a crack in fg yet.

It's half a game into the season though. He may well be the worst coach ever, and I never understood why Tooves was replaced apart from a stupid player revolt, but he deserves half a season to see what he can do with the team. I don't have a lot of faith but it's crazy to judge him based on Williame not taking the ball dead twice and some other shockers.
