The Broncos made the first 40 interesting, this second half has been complete balls though.

How the f**k did this match up win the gig for season opener? There are still some f**kwits at HQ I gather.

How about the premiers open it up at home against a Sydney metro top 8 team from the prior season? I.e., NQ vs SYD/CRO/CAB/SS/SGI?

Eh, good effort, just no halves. Foran in and Norman there for 80 and it's a much closer game. Gordon makes a difference and Gutherson has been good. Jennings quiet. Manu Ma'u is a beast and having Kenny Edwards back is great news, even if he played six for most of the second half.

Rusty game for both, deteriorated at the back

You're obviously not privy to Channel Nine's match selection criteria which involves a lot of input from Ray Warren.

Coupled with the urban myth that Parra is one of the most popular football teams in the NRL,and you have Channel nine treating the rest of the fans with parra on the box on just about every Thursday or Friday.
