Try every day of the week

In all honesty he probably did have enough momentum to just slide over and score that way.

However, he propped himself up on one arm and pushed forward, stretching out to put the ball over the line as well.

The refs can only rule on what did happen- which was a definite double movement- not on what would probably have happened if the player made a different choice.

A bit disappointed with the Broncos, they seemed to put the cue in the rack at half time and go into cruise control. It is the first game of the season but the result should have been a lot more lop-sided, and if they approach other games like that against scrappier teams they'll get run down. Bennet will be directing their attention to that.

Kahu seems to be made of spun glass, not sure how long the Broncos will be able to persevere with him. An undoubted talent but he gets injured way too often.

thought there were more positives to come out of that than negatives. Our defence hung in there for the 80 minutes which is a good sign as that was our problem last year (not hanging in for the full 80)

losing Norman at halftime put a huge spanner in the works in terms of interchanges etc

Kelly was our man directing the team around so having Foran back will be a huge boost

bring on next week, only early
