I think the advantage goes to Penrith in the second 40. One could argue his kicking game is better than Johnson's and behind a much more cohesive Penrith team in attack I think the pressure is on Warriors. They usually don't do too well holding onto leads.

No idea what to make of that half

Wind is worth more than 4 points, but the Warriors being generally geniused is probably worth as much as the wind.

Get the feeling that the second half and outcome of the game will largely come down to Soward's kicking game with the wind at his back.

Cannot believe the Warriors are holding onto the lead. Anything can happen, but kind of feel the Panthers may run away with this.

Shaun Johnson is so ordinary. Just ask Frog
Mostly he's ordinary, yes. Sometimes he does something useful. Often against us.

In any case, it doesn't appear our club is interested in paying the $1.2m+ a year he'd cost, and its hard to blame them.

I'm not sure of the value of the breeze either way when it's that strong. Johnson overcooked 2 or 3 kicks badly because of it, at least running into it you know you can just hammer bombs way up into it and they'll float. Gotta say both kickers have done very well off the tee.

With that wind at their backs,it was a 12-18 point breeze.

Take away Johnsons poor kicking game, and you have the Warriors leading easily by at least 20.

Panthers Sowie only has to smartly control his kicking game in the 2nd half, and the rest of the team cut out the dumb-f**k errors, and we should coast in.

Yeah agree with all of that. Absolutely.

Soward would've also had the comfort of learning from Johnsons kicking mistakes but the wind is unpredictable. The only thing we do know is its our turn to go into it
