I’m surprised nobody has picked Russell as either a surprise/breakout nomination. He went close with me. He may even get off the shit list especially seeing that both Catholic and Orthodox Easter aligns in 2025.

He's not a standout, but he's always solid, imo.

He reminds me of Joel Reddy - will do his job without fuss.

I wonder if it's the club driving him and his manager to give them an answer now they may be even saying to him that if he wants more money give them a price and let's have that conversation.

But if we do upgrade him and pay him alot more it will be interesting to see weather the club offers him the PO again.

You'd have to think any future contract with/upgrade for Brown would be at the "expense" of those future POs. There's been a bit of media how in negotiations with Moses we're apparently trying to get rid of those future POs.

True that. Hopefully we're pressuring him into confirming the option soon/early, and this is just his manager trying to show he's earning his cut somehow in the "process" for agreeing to the current terms.

There is three possible outcomes

1.He takes up the option as no other club shows interest
2. Another club offers more than he is on we match it he signs with us for another 3 seasons no PO.
3.Another club offers more we so no matchy he leaves.
