The cap is working a treat, it's honestly a race to the bottom it really is.

True, but if they had the cap of other sides it wouldn't matter what they offered them. The cap is a joke and so is the comp, it's set up for 4 or 5 sides and the rest are there to make up the numbers and provide the juniors for the chosen clubs.

Yeah nothing to do with the fact they have to offer overs to average players to recruit them just to stay relevant. Clubs with a swag of TPA's don't have that problem because offering overs doesn't seem to matter.

And people want expansion, another 2-4 teams, however we can't support the 16 we currently have. 16 teams is probably 4 too many as it is. Yes the salary cap may be the problem but without it there would be even more problems.

You signed Watmough for $800k or whatever it was for 4 years when no one including Manly were offering him much. Don't blame TPA's or the salary cap for your own clubs mismanagement

Anyway, as to this game, sometimes everything just goes pear shaped and all the opposition's passes stick. It's happened to other teams coming to this joint, but not for a while now.

Hence you have a score like 60-6 when really the two sides aren't that far apart in ability.

I only watched the last 25 minutes but felt for the Wests Tigers because they could not take a single trick in this game, while the Raiders looked twice as big, twice as fast, and twice as skilful.

Those seeking to compare this to last week's 53-0 result could not be more wrong.

So you feel sorry for them when they get beat 60-6 and make excuses, but when they lose 36-4 they are terrible - which is it?

Audit all the clubs then overhaul the pathetic salary cap system that pretends to exist so the game can move forward. As it stands currently, it almost appears as though the competition could easily be rigged (choosing my words carefully)

It's a fkn disgrace seeing what's happening to the Knights. It should never be happening in this competition.
