No we aren't. We know where Aubusson's feet are. We are trying to work out where Mitchell's foot is. As it's in the air, you can't just look at the line and say it's fine.

Ok, well there might be some confusion over the last couple of pages then.

So that is a no you can't provide it?

If the angle was so clear, you could have just posted it.

Channel 9 showed a white line across the park from where the ball was kicked in this afternoons broadcast.

Sterlo and Johns both said he was onside and they thought the decision was wrong

Still, if we had a goal kicker it would be a moot point. We're our own worst enemies atm

Poor luck with DCE. Is the injury serious?
I felt sorry for him last night. Bad luck

Yeah I'll stay classy like the Roosters fans who cheered when DCE was injured. Or the Roosters fan who headbutted me after the game, think he'd be used to losing after losing four straight. And for the record Aubusson looked offside to me.

Sorry to hear that.

There were some Manly fans gobbing off after the game and trying to start a fight but people were just walking away ignoring them.

Seems there was bad feeling all round. Not sure why.
Not usually a problem with us

In that still shot, his foot is around knee height. You guys are claiming that his foot is in front of the line based on that, ignoring the fact that it is in the air. I was making the point that his head is in front of the line as well, so therefore height off the ground matters.

If there was no camera angle to worry about then the line would have a use. As it stands, unless both feet are on the ground it is useless as is shown by this situation.

I can't believe people struggle this much with how camera angles work.
His foot isn't knee height when it strikes the ball. It's barely shin height.

This optical illusion you're trying to highlight isn't as strong as you think it is.

Of course his foot was in the air, he was kicking the ball and i have never known someone to do that whilst their kicking foot is on the ground.

If they clutch at that straw half the tries from kicks would be deemed offside due to no conclusive proof.

The ball is at the top of Lyon's socks, which are at his knee, so Mitchell's foot would maybe be 2/3rds the way up his leg.

Whether it's as strong or not doesn't change the fact that you can't use that line as proof as it doesn't account for height. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Thanks for that. Good to know there are some decent Roosters fans.

Mate there a scum fans in every fan base, I dont get why people cheer for injuries. I hope the clown that head butted you was dealt with by authorities and banned/arrested cos we don't need f**k wits like that at games.

Doesn't make the SKD sledge any better tho specially after what Brett Stewart went through in relation to a false allegation.

Lol if anything it exacerbates the optical illusion that the ball is further forward than it actually is. Isometrics.

Looks like someone got a Roget's Thesaurus for Christmas.

The trouble is you don't know how to use it. Did you get an accompanying dictionary? Consult that instead.

Isometrics is a form of strength training and has nothing to do with geometry. You are probably thinking of isometric projection which is a style of technical drawing and has nothing whatsoever to do with what is being discussed here.

Fair point, I was pretty worked up at that time, especially after being headbutted.
