Panthers to pice their attack together in this game. With Cartwright and Moylan in a attacking mood, this will be a coming out game for us.

Must give Parra credit for their defensive effort so far this season.

But the tide has to turn one day,and hopefully a full moon and a king tide for us on Sunday.Panthers by 8.

I have heard rumours Cartwright is out for up to 4 weeks. Anyone able to confirm or deny?

According to Griffin on Fox last night.
Scans came back ok, showed no fracture and if he can get through the soreness the next few days he will play with a thumb guard.

If someone told me Parramatta would have trouble scoring points with their halves, I would of flat out told them they're an idiot

yeh i got mixed up cause of long weekend. Everyone knew what game i was referring to.

But Vic is right. Frog talking it up like it was one for the ages, when in fact it was one of the worst games this year.

Who has talked it up? Vic is always taking shots at Penrith fans for some reason, most of it is utter bullshit.

Surely no one could talk that game up as an epic game or finals battle lol it was terrible. We missed 50 tackles and did dumb shit all game and the Dragons only beat us because we f**ked up the kick off.

This will be his second Sunday game in a row, he was pretty dangerous last game too, so I think that answers your enquiry.

I take shots at penrith fans cause every thread I go into a panthers fan somehow manages to bring up a penrith player/game etc that has zero relevance to anything being discussed. It's really fcking annoying.

As for the club itself, nothing against them and hope they do well this year.

I know that I haven't seen you take shots at the club or players, hence "Penrith fans". IT doesn't really bother me except I think the things you find annoying are being exaggerated somewhat but you are correct we talk about our juniors a bit, quite often some are baited into it though.

Anyway perhaps someone talked the dragons game up in the actual game thread I haven't looked but in the Panthers forum there has been no one who was happy with that performance by a long way. Dragons fans are entitled to be happy with a win but I don't think many would be overly thrilled with that game.

As for this game, I have my worries, Parra can finish if we give them the oppurtunities we gave the Dragons. Someone said earlier Moylan wont boost our attack very much but I disagree, he will obviously by rusty and I am not expecting much from him but just the attention he commands when he receives the ball compared to DWZ or the fresh prince will help. When one of our back up FBs get it the D just has to worry about tackling the ball carrier, when Moylan gets the ball the D has to worry about all the runners around him moreso than the Moylan carrying the ball. His ball playing keeps the defensive line guessing and that will(hopefully) open things up for us a bit. I am not confident at all because we haven't put together a good performance yet but the effort has been good all year so it might click for us eventually.

Yeh you can only rely on defence for so long till it burns you out. Hope our attack clicks this week

I thought it was a tough, old fashioned forward battle. I guess that is taken by some as talking it up. We should have won a close one but didn't. It's been happening all year.
