Yeah I remember the catalyst for that.

Some player slipped while picking up the ball with no defenders around him.

Went on to score a try and was called back as a dropout.

So they changed the rule to accomodate that.

Yeah that's right. I still remember RTS was the first to take advantage of the change when he did exactly that and everyone blew up saying it should have been a dropout.

This performance has Nothing to do with the coach.

If it is about attitude, or a culture of mediocrity, how do you propose it be fixed? A new coach or board comes in that gives the players a kick up the ass and attempts to promote a passion and discipline culture, then that makes the players dirty and you go about gradually losing what should be one of the best squads on paper in the comp.
