The Roosters look like half three time minor premiers, and half NSW Cup. That's what back- and front- loading player contracts can do for you. I think they'll win a few this year but this is a tough assignment if the Panthers play anything like they did last week and the week before. I don't see how the Roosters will stop the offloads and second phase.

This will be the first time this season Penrith will start favourite, and probably the first time they've started favourite against the Roosters in some years.

If form speaks for anything,I really can't see the Roosters getting a win against such a formidable opponent as the Panthers.

The Roosters did beat Souths,but in all honesty,they always get up for that match-up,and Souths are a busted arse anyway.

The Panthers have been battle hardened in the true sense of the word,and they will relish in playing a side that will allow them more opportunities than Nth Qld did.

I truly expect a cricket score,and for the Panthers to climb a few spots up the ladder.

We have so far played to the level of our opposition. All games being up for grabs until the final mi utes. But the past 2 weeks since Moylan was back our opposition were strong. If we play like we did against the Dragons there will only be 2 points in this game again and they are without a doubt a shit team. If we play as we have the past 2 weeks we should not only win but get back into the positive for for and against.

This is the game where Panthers show whether they're just a tough team to beat. Or if they're actually a tough team that is finding its feet.
