The only consolation from tonight's loss is that we didn't get flogged. If we'd stolen it the death it would have been an injustice. Panthers were in control the whole game more or less. If we knew how to hold a ball things may of got interesting. Have just about given up hopes of making the 8. Tupou is painful to watch.

Just saw that Waqa Blake try - epic!

He'll develop into a good player later on, he's a freakish athlete but just lacks the football brain... Although he's improved significantly this year.

Saw Blake score a try a couple of years ago in a solo effort that made him seem like he was skating on ice.Speed and style personified.

I've been waiting for him to get open ball since he made the top grade.Just wait until you see him on a dry track.

Moylan was grabbed by a player 9.7 metres offside when he tried a quick tap, then the ref gave another penalty 10 metres downfield. I don't know who the player was but it looked binnable to me.

They were already advancing the mark for back chat, so the ball was never in play when friend grabbed Moylan

That move he pulled at the end looked like he was gliding

If you call 162 metres and 40 tackles being back to his shell then fair enough.

I wasn't expecting Napa to come out like he did against Souths. He would have burned himself out by half time.

What was unfair for the poor bloke was the over attention he received from the press.

He has plenty of time to prove himself again.

TBH, I never really noticed him do much in the game either, think he just had a point to prove against the Burge$$ brothers.

Good win by the Panthers Soward finally stepped up with his kicking game. Great footwook by Blake too. I like the look of Latu big strong and a bit of ball skills too.

The roosters final try was as good as any try I have seen. Cracking try.

Also would have given moylan his try. But that said it annoys me how many forward passes are let go... so maybe...

My feed of this game was very choppy so perhaps you are correct, but you'd think they'd play the advantage. Regardless, Friend had no right whatsoever to touch Moylan.

I thought it might have gone upstairs WRT Ferguson passing off the ground. But the Panthers didn't seem to protest so maybe it was OK. Hook needs to drum into them that it always pays to blow up whenever anything at all happens in a try scoring movement. You never know, you might get lucky.

Also the 5th tackle penalty that led to it looked decidedly dodgy especially with some of the shenanigans the Roosters got away with near their own line late in the game.

It was ok he had no one touching him. It was a great try, Penrith defended it almost perfectly and they still managed to score.

How many big hits did he have though? Last week he belted the f**k out of Souths pack on his own.

He got through work tonight. But it wasn't nearly the same quality he delivered last week. He could have won that game if he did the same to our forwards.

Last week's performance was described as one of the best by a front rower in years, how can someone realistically be expected to do the same the following week? It is like a test cricketer hitting 300 in an innings and being expected to do it again the next match, instead he hits 75 and get's called out for an average performance. It is just completely ludicrous to expect a repeat.

To show my balance I was massively impressed by Latu's performance and also think RCG is not far off origin. Both top prospects.
