Here is a history lesson for you my friend.

The raiders were over the cap in 1990 which was the salary caps very first year of existence. We lost Glenn Lazarus as a result.

After the super league war ended clubs were told they had to get serious about getting back under the cap. Stuart and Clyde left in 99 you fool. On the back of the nrl forcing clubs into some kind of realm of sensible spending after sl and the raiders going all in on a couple of young players.

Who won the 94 premiership.
