Soward is a pretty ordinary player when he can't decide a game with his kicking, that's what happened at the Dragons too, when he's kicking at his best there's noone better but when he's not, he's not much of an asset

This is so much a different Penrith side to the sides of the past few years attitude wise.

Looks as though the change of coaches has paid off.

At best,I see us as bottom 8.At worst,if injuries continue as they've done like today, between 9th and 12th.

Anyway, whatever the outcome,I'm enjoying where we are.

Two seasons ago your coach took you to top 4. Your new coach has taken you to 10th. So how do you figure the change of coach has paid off? I don't quite follow. Sounds like wishful thinking to me

What was the reason Moylan took one shot at goal instead of Soward? Did Soward take a knock just before at the time?

We're one win behind where we were at this stage of that season, having had a much more difficult draw this year (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and two stragglers). And last year we played in the last round for the wooden spoon.

Yeah well. Whatever. When you don't make the finals this year you can tell us whether the change of coach was successful

Bad luck Penrith you were close. Pity about Martin. I guess the old pairing of Soward & Wallace will be re-united in the halves?

I don't blame the goal kicking. The 2 tries we let in the 2nd half in 8 minutes cost us victory. They were both long range and run away tries. Missing the goals cost us a chance of stealing the match.
I also think given the glut of possession we had in the first half we should have scored at least one try. But our attack seem to lack a bit of fluency and our 5th tackle kick options were poor along with Cartwright's 4th tackle kicks which were poor and unnecessary.

Was really worried about this game in turning into a blowout for the Sharks given the form that they have been in.The way we fought back in the second half only steels our resolve.

I now know that we can match it with any one.Just sealing the game in the dying minutes needs to be addressed.
