If we had someone better than Soward we'd be more like 6-2 than 3-5, we'll end up with a wasted season in 10th at this rate instead of top 4 if we knew how to close a game out
You didn't watch last week's game against the Roosters I don't suppose?

Johnson's has improved a lot this season. Why would game management be important when Johnson would probably be worth 8-10 points per game.

Because you sure as hell would not have had 54% of the ball without it and 64% of the footy played in our half. Johnson's freakish nature will deliver points instantly while good game management will let you build pressure, tackle less, have great field position which in turns leads to more chances and from that more points for you and a lack of points for the opponents.

Would you have been more comfortable with us being down in your half and challenging your try line more than we were today? Remember, you were down to 15 pretty early, it could have been catastrophic having to tackle your heart out.

I'm not saying Johnson is a good player, but for the current make up of your side he would be a terrible swap for Soward, you'd be relying on Wallace or Moylan for all organisation. Johnson next to Soward though would be unbelievable.

I happen to think we have a chance of doing something this year, despite today's result. If your fantasy of signing Johnson were to be realised, it would be for next year. But there isn't a chance of us getting him, he will never leave the Warriors, and if he did it's be for serious overs, and I for one don't want him anyway. Too injury prone.

So for all the shit being put on Soward (and probably Wallace too shortly since he'll be back in the 7 next week) no-one seems to have an idea who we have who is better, what with TMM having seemingly suffered a serious injury.

We may not have anyone "better" now that everyone is injured or 12 years old, but you are the one who thinks Wallace should be re-signed for next season, which is just nuts.

I think he'd be good back-up at a bargain basement price, but he had a bad miss-tackle today. And by the way I have NEVER said we should not re-sign Segeyaro. There are a few who have, but I would like to see how he goes with the 9 on his back in coming weeks. His form has been iffy for quite some time now which is why he finds himself possibly on the outer.

At the end of the day your record is the only thing that matters. We need to start stringing points together soon.

Yep, as great as our effort has been, we need to win these games. If we had gone 4/8 I would have been quite happy. Feeling a bit nervous that against a raiders team high in confidence that loss may just break our back

We need to win next week at home. Doesn't matter that the Raiders put 60 on tigers, just have to win and go on a run too.
