Well done Eels... We had you on the ropes in the first half but you proved too strong in the 2nd. The Eels had the rub of the green but the Dogs had enough opportunities to bounce back.

On a side note...WTF is the point of a touch judge these days? They don't call forward passes, they can't determine if a player is in touch and they just get in the way of video replays. F@ck them off already..,they are passengers!

Massive games from Norman and Gutherson.
That miss from hoppa will get shown plenty over the weekend.
Parra were getting pushed back in most tackles in the first half.
The dogs couldn't sustain that for the whole game and it took it's toll in the second half.

What was with Hoppa's attempted eye gouge on the Eels player late in the second half when the Eels were attacking the line? Nothing said.

They do have a soft draw

After a very tough start, Broncos , Cowboys twice and dogs twice. That's 5 of our first 9 games against sides currently in the top 6 ( for 3 wins / 2 losses). Remaining 3 games were against sides in the top 8 ( or on equal 8th on points in Manly). Only bottom side we have played is the Tigers.

Compared this to the storm - have played top 6 sides twice and lost both. Sharks have paid 3 top 6 sides for 2 wins.
