Considering Canberra flogged us that day, Fox could have been kind and showed the 91 GF instead ;-) . Those were great days when the same 2 teams could make the GF 2 years in a row. I doubt we'll see that for a long time.

Back to the original point, I agree on the play the ball issue.

Teams like Melbourne are being allowed to absolutely own every ruck, every game. It's producing some pretty average looking footy if you ask me.

The other extreme was the Tigers 05 surrenderfest.. they were allowed quick play the balls and consequently guys like Prince and Marshall were on fire.

We need to find some middle ground.
