Well unfortunately its so hard for us Dragons fans to know what to say. Many say would be good if we lose the first 4-6 games and then McWrecker will be punted but on the other hand, would be good for us fans to see some good wins in the first 4-6 games which then McWrecker would be credited for.

Even with Flanagan, we just will not come up with fantastic wins like in 2009, 2010 or any wins for that matter in my opinion. We suffer from the "no luck syndrome" which has been with us well and truly before the coronavirus hit the scene.

The players we have are just not much chop I am afraid. In fact, quite useless. Norman and Hunt will not be with us after their respective contracts come to an end. They are just deadset not good enough.

There’s an incorrect assumption with your first paragraph. Sadly, I think it’s going to take more losing four-to-six opening games in order to break from the shackles provided by an incompetent coach.

Ease up on Hunt. Sure he made a few errors, but there were many other individuals who were equally guilty. Besides, mistakes made by the halfback are always scrutinised whereas other positions “boo boos” are glossed over. At least Ben tried to be involved unlike Norman.

I suppose my assumption is off the track a bit and I should not have criticised Hunt to the degree I did but when your heart is for your team to win, no matter what sport, you just don't like failure and blaming someone, some people basically is a common thing.

So which players should we get rid of because they are not much chop?

Hunts kiching game was off, his game management was off and his own attacking play was off.

Benji should have been shut down every time he received the ball.

I always saw Benji as a threat to us in this game. He loves playing against us as he has done so many other times he played us when at the Tigers. Maguire is I understand 10 wins to 2 against McWrecker so that in itself is a pointer as to the end result.

Usually it's Brooks who demolishes us but the real point is that Benji just ignored the fact that he was out, stepped up confidently and did the job with aplomb.
How Norman ever made the QLD SOO squad is beyond me.

Norman is a huge problem, do you replace him with Sailor or try to fit Clune in there some how?

Agree hewi , although I would give him one more game , should the man not produce the goods then by all means replace him with Sailor - we certainly have nothing to lose in what is bound to be a very short season - unfortunately.

I have only said this because compared to most other clubs our players just do not measure up all that well to gel as a team. Some players that need replacing in my view are Graham and Norman, however, I'd give them another go because it was Graham's first game since last year and Norman might come good in round 2 but if not, definitely bring in Clune to replace him.

Can’t wait to see the team list and hopefully a pre game presser today
Aitken straight back, Williame to wing, Graham retained and all’s well in Maryland.
Will milk the T Sims suspension for all its worth.

That's a very very negative way to look at this scenario..... but you will probably be right !

No doubt Rav 4 will be out so you can bet your bottom dollar Aitken is straight in.

Ok for the hundreth millienth time Hunt will not play hooker. We have 3 already besides McIness.

Hunt admitted he had a crap game against the Tigers, lets see him back up the words with actions in rd2.

Who knows if there'll be a round 3 yet.

All the excuses offered by the coach and players are like a cracked record which repeats the same thing over and over again.
Had the entire off season to fix his problems and yet again underperformed so f**k Rd 2 punt him now.
