I can live with it once every couple of hundred innings. Smith feels that he is quick enough to get out of trouble so he can always press on the spin bowlers for singles. Occasionally he is going to look like an absolute plum when he isn't fast enough.

Very entertaining session. Plenty of runs at a good run rate and some good testing bowling by England. Rogers batting sensationally he deserves a century.
