The irony is his first dismissal was actually worthy of a review...

The most fitting way for him to go out would be to pull a hammy on the way back to the dressing room...
We couldn't be that lucky. I mean that would seal the deal so yeah...

his unbelievably selfish and woeful strike rate with the DRS is literally the thing I will remember most about his test career

Fare thee well Sunshine, if there was a more reliable batsman for Australia i am yet to watch him.

Pretty comprehensive that - Aust's batting is overrated imo - and not sure how long you can persist with Watson and Haddin... and even beyond that, the side has a real Dad's Army feel to it with Rogers, Clarke, Voges, Watson, Haddin, and Johnson all either past their best or past their use by dates

That said, I kind of expect you to win the series still - but they simply dominated, whereas in our test 1 loss we dominated apart from a session or two - worrying signs

Haddin pretty much dropped the first test when he put Root down on 0. If he holds it IMO England don't recover.

Glad England won, it sets up the series nicely. Expecting Australia to hit back hard and take game 2.
