Hussey got out at a stupid time which started a collapse so no I wouldn't be happy if I was the captain.

i dont understand why everyone is suprised... NZ have been one of the better sides in ODI cricket for the past 3 or so years.... they have the number 1 or 2 ODI bowler(Vettori) & the number 4 (mills). i could just imagine how good it would be with Bond, Oram & Ryder in....

still though... this is nowhere near over.... im worried about Tait... NZ have traditionally really had the sh*ts against express pace...

but you would think we should chase this with ease... this is pretty much the same bowling attack we chased down 350 odd against.. minus Pigeon ofcourse..

The fact they've probably never seen both Broom or Guptill who are probably their respective provinces best fielders may have played a part there. Both very fast and with good arms.

Still, with our batting lineup i wouldn't say this is over by a longshot.

yeah i saw Voges play once... in Hamilton... he was really handy... hes the ginger isnt he.... and he bowles offies??

He got one game in NZ and never got another look in which IMO is pretty low. He got 16 Not out that game of only a few deliveries.

Why Katich?? He is a great test opener leave it at that we need to look to the future. North yeah give him a shot for sure. Hughes should get a run but only as an opener. Birt is a genuine hack and absolute Tasmanian garbage.

yeah that cracked me up.... you would think with all the money in cricket these days someone would have done there homework...

ive heard Alan Mac say that Guptill is the best fielder in NZ... sure Mac is an Aucklander but afew others have agreed....
