I think it will be McFadden, but the Warriors problems extend far beyond the coach.

It looks likely that both Taylor and McFadden will go in the same week.

From a continuity perspective, you would think that putting on a new coach before the rep round would be as good as it gets for a mid season change. Then the new coach gets two weeks to work with his new team and make any adjustments before game 1.

If you wait until the bye rounds around Origin time then thats a couple of weeks less you've given the new bloke to turn things around.

I would say that both of these blokes have already come to the end of their tether and this weekend will be last drinks for the both of them.

You don't consider finals in 5 out of 7 years (would've been 6 if not for Mick Watson) and a GF appearance successful?

We were top four last year on the back of beating sides below us. Look at the draw. The Melbourne win was our only win of note. Absolute red herring us being in the 4. We got banged up by the Roosters and Manly just before SJ went down. Neither side were a force last year particularly We were bog average.

I said this in the Warriors forum but our defence is not on Morgan at the moment. It's on our shit professionalism. He's got Ayshford and Kata firing, who are about the only guys trying. The fact he's got Ayshford playing consistent defensive footy should be a huge rap for him considering how shit everyone thought Ayshford was?

McFadden sucks. Toovey doesn't want the job, he's said as much on Fox.

But McFadden won't be fired before the bye. We have 2x fullbacks injured and our former captain as well. They'll give him a lot more extra time despite the clear signs that he can't coach.

So I'd have a hundred bucks on Taylor gone first. Robbie the sniper taking down what, 2 or 3 coaches now?

That's on the previous administration, not Doyle and co. We as fans aren't going to put up with pathetic performances and a rudderless team just because a different administration hired and fired 4 coaches in as many years. McFadden got to 50 games because of the previous hiring and firing. He shouldn't go further.

Agreed that the next appointment has to stick, however. Doyle keeps saying he hasn't contacted Ivan or Toovey or anyone. Well if he hasn't, then either he knows who is next up (and it better not be Stacey) or he's not doing his job.

1 Premiership and 3 Minor Premierships gives Robinson a bit of "money in the bank" to draw on. As such I doubt he will get punted. McFadden is the favourite.
