This is why 50 over cricket is better than 20/20 cricket. If you hit a flat spot or lose a few wickets you still have the chance and time to fight back. A very good match in what has been a good series.

Doherty's 0/39 from 10 was a crucial spell.

An outstanding series with unfortunately low attendances. One of the best tri-series for many years. A lot of close games. Tonight's game deserved close to a full house. Serves the pricks at CA right for pushing our schedule back to accomodate India.

Brilliant bowling from Watson. His bowling tonight reminds me a lot of Ian Harvey - the ability to not only bowl accurately, but the changes in pace which cause the batsmen to become impatient. Just shows why we need to get more bowling out of him in the test matches as the 5th bowler in the side.
