Australia should take the batting powerplay now
I agree. But they've been told they can't take it in the last 10 overs so that pretty much means they'll take it in the 35th 99% of the time because most Captains don't have any ability to think outside the box.Australia should take the batting powerplay now
not an option, it needs to be completed by the end of the 40thI think they're waiting out Malinga.
Wow didn't know that. Noone has ever scored a ODI 100 on debut for Australia.

The criticism of Hughes is getting farcical.
No matter what it is always his fault. If he hesitates, he is wrong. If he goes, he is wrong. If he listens to his partner, he is wrong. If he doesn't listen to his partner, he is wrong. If he's going to the danger end, he is wrong. If he's going away from the danger end, he is wrong.
In that "incident" with Bailey, Bailey said yes and started running, so Hughes did aswell, then Bailey hesitates and changes his mind, and apparently Hughes is in the wrong.
The one before with Khawaja, as slow as Khawaja is if he slid the bat in with the proper technique he would have been in. But it was still Hughes in the wrong.
Most of you are shitting on him only because I like him and want reasons to bitch if he gets a 100.
South Africa.Phil Jaques has the highest score less than 100 on debut. He was very unluckily given out for about 94 caught behind IIRC, coincidentally against Sri Lanka at Melbourne 7 yrs ago
This Australian team is definitely not b grade as some put it. Besides kwajawa this team is all quality. The only player worth bringing in is Clarke and maybe Warner. Watson is passed it and shouldn't play again.
