I had the same thought and one of the commentators (Harsha Bogle?) mentioned it as well.

It's assumed be continuing its line. Not going straight.

Fair enough, what you said there about continuing its line always made more sense to me but I’ve seen so many swinging yorkers hit batsman on the full but clearly missing then be giving out and nobody bat an eyelid I’d always assumed that was the rule, learn something everyday
