if Pakistan and India can easily dispose of SA, why cant SL?

Poms have been a disappointment well before the WC, but SA have been a let down in this cup considering the talk about them. A good win will do them good, but for me it is unlikely

SL will win this

SA will find a way to f**k it up now that we're in the knockout stages. As PB said, they're certainly not the force they've been talked up to to be, so SL are in with a big show either way.

well, time for SA to show the talk was accurate... certainly with Amla, de Villiers, Steyn and Morkel they should have done better than they have - they really do miss the great one, but that is no surprise...

Would love to see more of Dilshan and Sangakarra - these last few months I've really come to be a big Dilshan fan

It's almost that time for the Saffa's to undo that top button again, should be a cracker.

Hope Sanga carries them home. The Lankans at work are more bearable than the Saffas. One of them has been to every game so far (even flew to NZ twice)

South Africa will definitely bomb somewhere but I'm 50/50 on whether it will be Sri Lanka.

Really disappointed with the Saffa's who constantly look disjointed and even lazy at times, they play like a team who is constantly waiting for Amla/de Villers/Steyn to bail them out rather than play around the riches. That Pakistan loss was the tell tale, throwing away wickets like muppets.

World Cup winners on paper but they won't win unless their attitude sharpens up.

Both sides would rather bat first I suspect. Sri Lanka bat first and get a decent total and all the pressure is on the Saffa's.

Huge game this, unquestionably the 3 best ODI bats in the world on display, plus Dilshan who's not far off...

The Jaapies are all over the media about not choking, clearly it's on their mind... The Lankans have been hit hard by injury - Herath now gone too... until Chandimal's injury they were a red-hot chance of beating Aust, I reckon they might get the Jaapies here - neither result a shock I guess

I read somewhere that the Saffa's have never won a knock out game at the World Cup??? That can't be right can it??? No wonder they are getting a little nervous lol.
