lol wut.

He did f**k all this game, occupied the crease for nothing

Given the post you responded to, I don't see how that masks a great career or the fact that the team collapsed around him. Both statements are true.

I think Sri Lanka are in for some real pain the next 5-10 years or so. They've essentially lost the backbone of all their threat with Sangakkara and Jayawardena moving on, I don't know if Dilshan is confirmed as going but he can't be far off, and thats not long off the back of losing one of their two international class "bowlers" Sandy Koufax... I mean Muttiah Muralitharan. I think with today's testing environment, I don't see how they can get away with their production line of chuckers anymore. The only one worth his salt left in this team will be Angelo Matthews, and given the litany of blokes they've blooded the last 5-6 years who couldn't hit their way out of a paper bag, I think its been a cricketing nation propped up by 3-4 genuine stars which is about to have the house of cards fall over at a rapid rate of knots. It would not surprise me to see them go down to the West Indian standards, albeit the West Indies time at the top was far more dominant and more prolonged.

oh dear...Sri Lanka really have saved their worst performance of the tournament for last.

What a way to implode and bow out of the tournament.

Really is sad - the likes of Sanga, Jayawardene, Dilshan, Malinga certainly deserved to go out on a better note...

Not sure what to make of it, the Jaapies bowled ok, but no real reason to implode like this...

I thought Sri Lanka were more than half a chance of knocking off South Africa but they really saved their worst for last.

Bit of a let down that the Lankans put on an extremely sub-par show and failed to test the Saffas in a situation that they're historically no good at. Didn't really learn much of where the Saffas are at IMO. Sucks for Sanga also.
