I reckon we got a good deal there, I'd rather be chasing 298 in 43 than 350+ in 50, because at the end of the day you have to go at a similar run rate for 7 overs less, and don't have to protect your wickets as much.

Still a monster total to chase in a reduced overs match though.

On the flipside, you can afford fewer low scoring overs. There's benefits to both if you're good enough.

We somehow managed to get the one South African who doesn't choke under pressure to play for us.

Seriously though... You gotta feel for South Africa... They played pretty well.

Like Guptill in the quarters (well, possibly even more so), he will never ever forget this knock. To way the way he did and finish the way he did in a pressure situation like this was epic. Just a fantastic, fantastic innings.
