So next time we cop any sort of a knock to the head and that player has fulfilled his role, we can sub?

Because there's no way on any planet Chahal hits even half the runs Jadeja did and no way on any planet does Jadeja take 3 for not many with the ball, India have taken the umpires for a ride here but now that precedent has been set

Imagine the outcry if straya did it, though.

If Australia pulled that shit India would’ve already threatened to go home and softcock media personalities would be wanking on about the toxic culture and boorish behaviour of the Australian team.

Yup was thinking this as well

The same tree huggers that crucified the players and the team culture during sandpaper gate like they were all mass murderers, would come out in force again

India in Cricket has become China in politics... most in power elsewhere are afraid to call them out to stop risk of retaliation.

The more I thought about it the more I got pissed off. The result is meaningless in the scheme of things.. like sandpaper or underarm, who cares. It’s the action that leaves a bitter pill to swallow.

Australian cricket unsurprisingly can’t be critical without being called for hypocrisy - but at least when we cheated the whole country called then on it and demanded action.

Michael Vaughan - who I think is probably the best modern day voice of cricket - has called it and rightly so..

No Doctor or Physio came out to Test Jadeja for concussion ... he then looks like his has done something to his leg ... then they pull the concussion replacement .. !!!!! #RatSniffed#OnOn#AUSvIND

I have heard a few Indians saying something along the lines of "it's not our fault, blame the match referee for letting us do it"

This is the sort of attitude that will see the concussion rule removed, similar to what happened to the runner rule, teams exploiting it to gain an advantage.

Let's see how "concussed" he is when the test matches kick off because looking at India's squad, they will be sorely in need of someone who can roll the arm over.

The good thing about the ICC removing batting runners in 2011 was it phased the Fatty Ranatunga-type of players out of the game, who were notorious for exploiting it.
