He's a legend. Tells it like it is.yeah, Chapelli is Ian, didn't pick up on the "i'
dont much like him as a commentator or his opinions, but geez he keeps repeating the same things every time he get in front of a microphone
To be number 1, IMO, you need to beat the best in their backyard.
Nup, just the first three.Like RSA just did?
Seriously, for a couple of years I don't think there will be a clear #1 - RSA, Aust, India and Sri Lanka pretty close

Yeah, and like India couldnt last season......RSA's win gets cancelled out though if we win over there.....
I'll remove Sri Lanka from the list - next tier
But don't forget that India bitch slapped AUst in India, and RSA towelled Aust in Aust - you can say what you like but it looks very much like all three teams are on a par...

Yeah it was kind of even. But if you look at the end results of the two live tests, RSA won by 6 wickets and 9 wickets. Australia were ahead for periods of both tests.
But just how it used to be so often when Australia were no.1, they'd only be behind for a period and still end up wining by a wide margin.
As RSA did.
I don't think there is much between the top 3 test playing nations, all 3 teams could beat each other on a particular day.
yep, what I was trying to say...
You did put Sril Lanka in there:lol:
