Pakistan are statistically the worse country to travel here in past 30 years.

There last 5 series out here they have lost all 14 tests.

Haven't even managed a draw all tests been whitewashed.

Outside of that test match in Sydney about 14 years ago that has red flags with bookies money all over it.

They haven't come close to being competitive in recent tours.

It warms the tips of a mans feathers to see the fastest bowler ever Lando Morrell back in the mix.

Ahh Lance.

This is basically Davey's send off Summer. Bit of a snooze, not as entertaining to watch anymore. But if he fails in the first test then things will get very interesting. Will be a lot of talk and ultimately it's good for the sport.

Was going to ask the same thing, while Marsh pops up and does great things occasionally, mostly it’s clumsy dross, sure they need to pick and stick with Green? It’s an old side… (a lot of sides are atm, not unique to Aust)

Marsh is one of the favoured sons. Tbh, he can't be considered as an allrounder because his bowling is pedestrian, only slightly better than a Head or a Labuschagne. So if they want their allrounder its got to be Green.

No point sending Green back to the Shield, he was already the best batsman in the comp by some distance. Green is a much better talent than Marsh, so why not give him the opportunities we gave Marsh at the same age? There is no way we are losing a test this summer, so time to give the future a chance instead of throwing them in the deep end in an away series against India.

Pick a bat this summer. Let Green have a season of Shield to grow his game. Send Darsh to the prairie to be with the other Bison

Nathan McSweeney. Why not?

Problem with Darsh and his bowling every time he bowls a decent amount of overs he breaks down. He’s not a test all rounder it’s as simple as that and is he in the top 6 bats in the country??

Is Cam Bancroft even the remotest of remote chances of getting in to the Test team regardless of how many runs he scores in 1st class cricket?? Rightly or wrongly I think he might be persona non grata in the Aussie changeroom since talking out of school Re sandpaper-gate....

Depends i suppose. JL is no longer there to get him into the side.

How Bancroft waltzed back in at the start of the 2019 Ashes was disgraceful & JL looking out for his WA buddies.

He came back with a technique worse then what he started with. I was watching him side on at Edgbaston that test match he felt like a walking wicket every ball he faced.

I would have Renshaw as the next opener as he has at least looked capable when he played 6-7 years ago. I feel he has been treated shabbily tbh since Langer took over.
