Pattinsons in great form leading wicket-taker in the Shield plus he showed some good signs n the UAE especially the first ODI. This season Pattinsons got 16 shield wickets at 16.75 and at an economy rate of 3.02 while Siddle has 9 wickets at 32.11 and a economy rate of 3.70. On Starc I would like to see him play some Shield cricket before making a test return same with Pat Cummins.

When looking at who will play out of the fast bowlers you need to look at up coming tests as well, considering they are keen to rest the young bowlers particularly back to back tests


Starc to miss this test and play both at adelaide and Perth

Pattinson to play here and miss Adelaide, but play in Perth
