I am a big fan of Ed Cowan's approach to Test cricket top-order batting. Would love for him to score a century today.

To a point in ODI's, that said I don't see who he plays ahead of, our ODI side is VERY GOOD! Plus the one I want in there is Mitch Marsh not Ferguson, we need a lower order hitter, not a grafter, we have 3 or 4 grafters already.

Agree on Hazelwood, will play in the SL series, my tip is Melbourne or Sydney.

You know we have plummetted from 1st to 4th on the rankings in the last 12 moinths in ODI mainly cause our middle order has been ineffective

And youd prefer Bailey and Forrest over Ferguson? That will do me :crazy:

btw Fergusons ODI s/r is mid 80s, Ave 41

Ton or no ton great knock by Cowan especially under the circumstances. With all the pressure not just cementing his spot but opening and with a total like that to run down against a formidable side. Guy practically didn't take a backward step from the first ball.

Really good test match batting, to keep the scoreboard ticking over but also take your time to try to save the match for Australia.

Don't see that patience as much anymore these days.
