do you think Webster could handle batting higher than Inglis & Green? part of me thinks he could

If Green was 6 and Inglis 7, maybe.

I love the Slug but I think he's too plonky on the front foot to bat 3 or 4 in most cases. He manages his own technique well but I think he'd be in trouble against a newer ball on a less worn deck.

Labuschange's career is remarkable for someone with such ordinary talent - regression to the mean is a bitch...

Hopefully Green is allowed to bat 4, Inglis deserves a shot, but whatever happened to McSweeney - no disgrace in struggling against Bumrah with the new ball

was Khawaja only picked because he is a lefty?

Head to open with Konstas gets McSweeney in - but Head can lose his wicket cheaply and puts even more pressure on the middle order to perform

It's only the WI however I'd put money on our middle/lower order scoring the runs on this tour. I'm not sure how our patch job at the top of the order will go.

West Indies: 1 Kriagg Brathwaite, 2 John Campbell, 3 Keacy Carty, 4 Brandon King, 5 Roston Chase (capt), 6 Shai Hope (wk), 7 Justin Greaves, 8 Jomel Warrican, 9 Alzarri Joseph, 10 Shamar Joseph, 11 Jayden Seales

Australia opted to retain their traditional balance of three frontline quicks and a spinner supplemented by Beau Webster who can provide medium pace and offspin. Josh Inglis will cover for Smith at No. 4.

Australia: 1 Usman Khawaja, 2 Sam Konstas, 3 Cameron Green, 4 Josh Inglis, 5 Travis Head, 6 Beau Webster, 7 Alex Carey (wk), 8 Pat Cummins (capt), 9 Mitchell Starc, 10 Nathan Lyon, 11 Josh Hazlewood

Suss on that top order. But if it's a docile pitch and the WI attack are disinterested they may well score runs.

Head MOM and series. I think middle/lower order to score the runs.

For those who don't have ESPN, just letting you guys know that the test match is also being broadcasted live on the Windies Cricket official YouTube channel (i.e. not an "illegal" stream):
