Why is it always Renshaw digging in? The bloke is the pup of the team ffs, a certain few players should be very embarrassed

Not sure who has more death riders, the Eels or the Aussie cricket team lol.

We look predictably rusty. Especially against spin on wickets where we historically struggle anyway. Just gotta be more willing to struggle through that initial period when coming out to the wicket than some of the batsmen have been. Not sure what planet Khawaja was on, and Lyon was a throwaway wicket anyway in a lot of respects, so realistically it's been Warner (who should have been more focused but also got a 50/50 go against him) and a reasonably rare failure from Smith compounded by Uzi's brain explosion.

Shame, Handscombe was looking good.

Yeah he was. Just stayed down a touch, and I think he misjudged the line a bit too.

I wonder which Glenn Maxwell we'll get today? If his head's in the game he's a decent player of spin. If he wants to dominate from the outset he'll be sitting down pretty quickly.

I'd make fun of your struggles in this test but:

a) anyone who's seen Australia on the subcontinent would know that this series was a 50/50 contest

b) I can't laugh because England might well be about to lose to a local A grade standard side who've probably won about 2 or 3 Tests overseas since Ambrose and Walsh retired.
