I'd make fun of your struggles in this test but:

a) anyone who's seen Australia on the subcontinent would know that this series was a 50/50 contest

b) I can't laugh because England might well be about to lose to a local A grade standard side who've probably won about 2 or 3 Tests overseas since Ambrose and Walsh retired.

Also Bangladesh are severely underrated by most, especially Aussies. They can struggle away but at home they are a pretty good side. Put that with our struggles in the past on slow wickets and our inevitable rust levels in terms of Test cricket and it's going about how it should, realistically. It'll be a tough series with relatively small scores IMO.

Khawaja batted beautifully again. Flat track bully who stands still and wafts

How can you say that he batted poorly when he literally ran himself out on 1 off 2 balls, lol. He didn't bat well or poorly because he didn't even bat!

Time to bite the bullet and bring in an Indian batting coach?

It would help if we had any wickets that turned anymore. Used to be the SCG and Adelaide would get low and slow to varying degrees and spin. Yeah, it's still nothing like India, but it gives batsmen experience in terms of their mental approach to spin bowling which is absolutely our problem.

Nowadays every ground is almost exactly the same and does very little to help any bowler because CA care more about getting their 5 days attendance money than they do about the state of Australian cricket.
