I am quite pleased with that last Tahir wicket. He has finally taken a big wicket in the context of a test match which is crucial to helping his team win it.

I think he is a good bowler, but I think he gets very nervous in tests, with experience, those nerves should dispel themselves and South Africa can afford to risk him, but he needs to play his issues away, by taking wickets like that

I also think Steyn has bowled really well all innings, and all match, bar day 1. He is an excellent bowler. I heard this great quote about him after his performance yesterday, coming from a Pom "when you're watching Dale Steyn bowl in the moments after he has taken a wicket, it's impossible, you you lose your national identity and you become a cricket fan, a fast bowling fan, because when Steyn is bowling and when he's running in, there's something so sort of animalistic and brutal about it that all you want is to feel that adrenaline rush that he feels when he is knocking stumps over"

right decision in the end, that's what counts. I was worried that the uselessness of the hotspot footage then would cost South Africa the review when it was pretty clear he gloved it and there was a sound too and lalala, but yeah, perfect, Steyn has his 4th, England 8 down, trail by 42

Another little factoid from Cricinfo, this from their live coverage
In fact...With an innings victory, this was the most comprehensive Test win ever in terms of the difference between runs per wicket of the winning and losing teams

England averaged 31.25 runs per wicket at The Oval, compared to South Africa?s 318.50, making the difference of 287.25 runs per wicket the highest gap in a Test that has produced a result. It reverses the ledger that previously sat top of the history books, when England thrashed South Africa at Lord?s in 1924.
