Strauss smashing his glasses off a throw was brilliant. Don't think we've ever seen anything like that, or will again.
for anyone who may have missed it, or just wants to watch it again, because it was indeed hilarious

I hope Kallis and Amla get on with it. They looked like upping the run rate just before lunch and now nothing. Pommies are killing time.

I am such a sook, been doing the dishes and cleaning the sink much of this session with the cricket on next to me and tearing up about the Mighty #'s record as he gets ever closer to being the first South African to score a test triple ton. And Kallis just hit a six :)

Spongebob Squarepants has just been evicted. Fair enough too, i say.

Kallis is getting on with it now. Amla now 298 not out.

3 minutes away from England's going a whole day without a wicket. G Smith out at 3.18 yesterday

I think Robin is Petersen and Kevin is Pietersen

Anywho, Kallis in the 180s, he got off 180 unscathed

that's Tea, South Africa 637 for 2 lead by 252. Amla 311*, Kallis 182*

I was scared Smith was going to declare on Tea with the way he was standing there, but he didn't, he should at least wait for Kallis to get his double, then he can declare. I want a lead of 300 though

Time is getting a little short though. Go for the win. S.A. should have at least 1 hour at the Poms tonight. These 2 should have a crack i reckon. Kallis is, now it's time for Amla to join in.

they are still making up time in the evening session for lost play the other day, so it is an extended session, minimum 43 overs left today (I do realise we probably won't get that, but there is plenty of time left and there are demons in this pitch), so plenty of time. SAfrica should win this easily, by tea tomorrow

Need to share this, great cartoon from London's Sunday Times

and South Africa have declared at tea. I am mighty unimpressed, but am curious to see who will be handed the new ball.

Should still win by over an innings, but should have let Kallis get his double ton and waited for the 300 lead. A victory of an innings and over 100 runs would be more demoralising for England for the next test - which I think would have happened with a 300 run lead
