I've been having test cricket withdrawals, I'm not sure how interested I am in this series, but been counting down the days til I get to see test cricket again
England have won the toss and elected to bowl first
West Indies:
Adrian Barath, Kieran Powell, Kirk Edwards, Darren Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Marlon Samuels, Dinesh Ramdin (keeper), Darren Sammy (captain), Keemar Roach, Shannon Gabriel, Fidel Edwards
England:
Andrew Strauss(captain), Alastair Cook, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Jonny Bairstow, Matt Prior (keeper), Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann, James Anderson
How good is Chanders???? Just keep scoring runs, he is like Waugh was in his gold run. Just hard to get out and scores runs no matter how well they are hitting the ball.
I was obviously joking, however, Strauss got out in what the third or forth over the day ...
I was about to say but Baristow is having a good dig, then he got out too. England 292/5, lead by 49 runs
Remarkable, England were all out for 398 in the tenth over after lunch, a lead of 155. WIndies have problems and are lucky they have Shiv, they had the opportunity to tip the game back in their favour, but their openers didn't do much anywho, WIndies 120/4, trail by 35 at stumps on day 2. Shiv 34 not out.
WIndies doing really well this session, have wiped away the deficit and it's not just Shiv carrying the side, Marlon Samuels is batting really well, on 73* right now. WIndies currently 199/4, lead by 44 with 15 minutes till lunch. Chanderpaul is on 66*
