what gets me is a young fella on debut can adapt his bowling to indian conditions - fast undercut sidespin, yet Lyon seems to refuse to entertain the notion of adapting to the conditions.

Both opening batsmen saying they were tired before the tour began was a worrying sign, in hindsight maybe the test players should of rested up instead of grabbing the $ and playing in the BBL.

Yes agree from what I heard he has bowl nearly 50 overs in India and only has 1 wicket ? Drop him. And a few batters , can't carry around dead weight. Needs results now.

He is breaking down, Bowling front on, short run up strains the back, its has caught up with him. Hasn't played for 6 months now

By the time the next series rolls around he will be 31yo and a white ball bowler, word is he needs to manage his work load

Besides we will have Ruffles Morris and Fergus ONeill in their prime by then
