Not often i wrap the guy who does the comments on Cricinfo, but he was right about Hafeez ..

Early bowling change, and an interesting one. Mohammad Hafeez is on, and he has created endless torment for left-hand openers around the world over the last year. Ended Devon Smith's career for the moment, and reduced Tamim Iqbal to a shuddering bunny. What can Cook-Strauss do?

5.1
Mohammad Hafeez to Cook, no run, leading edge straight away. Tossed up on middle and leg, and the ball straightens as Cook looks to work it square.

Slip and short leg.

5.2
Mohammad Hafeez to Cook, no run, flat and quicker through the air, Cook isn't forward soon enough but keeps it out.

5.3
Mohammad Hafeez to Cook, OUT, Hafeez does it again, with the most golden of arms doing the rounds! Cook is gone. Short of a length outside off, it skids and hurries through Cook without spinning as much he would have expected - typical new ball sort of turn. Cook looks to cut, has no room and gets a thin edge. Adnan Akmal holds on, using the wrists and the thighs to assist him. If you are a left-hand opener, go hide, since Mo Hafeez is in the house! Cook is mighty frustrated, and bangs the bat on the turf as he walks back.
AN Cook c †Adnan Akmal b Mohammad Hafeez 3 (20b 0x4 0x6) SR: 15.00

Spot on..

What a gee up that this isn't on foxsports live. Pathetic. Get the f**ken replay of the ODI off.

And there goes Trott, Cheema got him, and a great catch from the keeper

England 31/2 after 12 and a half overs

Great to see the 2 bastards who hammered us last summer out already. I still can't understand how Trott keeps making runs.

I just read this wonderful bit of trivia about his match (wonderful because it's extremely trivial)

The UAE is the only country to host Test cricket in which cars exclusively drive on the right. Some of the Caribbean countries drive on the right (French Antilles and Dutch Caribbean) but they have not hosted Test cricket. This is also England's first Test at a neutral venue.

hmm, then I wonder what was so special about him having done it, must have had something to do with his figures or maybe doing it in 2 innings.

I am getting so forgetful in my old age ... I'm within 2 moths of 22
It was the fact that he's a spinner. Duh!

And Strauss's wicket falls, bowled by Ajmal. England 42/3 after 19 overs

And another one falls, IAn Bell goes for a golden. Done by a doosra from Ajmal.

I hadn't realised that Ajmal was the leading wicket taker in 2011. But now, I am not surprised. England 42/4 after 20.1 overs. Ajmal on a hat trick

I feel like I'm the only one who realised he was on a hattrick, commies didn't even bring it up.

I am loving this match so far, even though England are probably my second team (given they are South Africa A).

Pakistan reviewing something right now, could have another
